Respirators that fit
well, nitrile gloves, vinyl aprons, tyvek coveralls, and protective
goggles for the
eyes are just as important to the costumer as good cutting shears,
the right sized needles and a reliable sewing machine.
The Editor of Costumer's
Eye spent quite a few years as the "National Poster Child"
for Costume Safety. Her continued life walks a tenuous line trying
to avoid an exposure that will trigger a fatal immune system overreaction
attack on it's own body.
While we have "come
a long way, Baby" from those times when we used to just cover
our hands with Vaseline, open the door, turn on a fan and plunge
into the celeastic softened in tolulene, until now there has not
been a straight forward resource for safety protection equipment
for the Costumer.
To aid in this, the
Costumer's Eye editor has worked with a safety equipment supplier
to develop a selection of safety equipment specifically chosen
for the costumer. You may order this equipment by phone, mail
or fax. Credit Cards and P.O.'s are accepted.
